CONTEMPLAS TEMPLO is the new capture engine for Vicon Motus. TEMPLO supports all state-of-the-art camera technologies, synchronized with force platforms, EMG and general purpose A/D converters.

USB-2 cameras Connection USB-2 cameras can use built-in connectors or USB-2 adapter cards, usually one camera per USB bus. Cable Cable length is limited to 10 m, cameras are powered through the data cable.

Typical resolutions and frame rates
640x480 @ 50 fps
Most USB-2 cameras are webcams which are not suitable for motion analysis. TEMPLO uses USB-2 cameras for posture analysis where low frame rates are not an issue.

Mobile systems
Notebook computers can typically handle 2 cameras.

Desktop systems
Modern computer systems can typically handle 6+ cameras.
